Mean Woman Takes Hat From ‘Trump’ Supporter, Then He Gets The Last Laugh

At a Mexican restaurant in Falmouth, Massachusetts, 41-year-old Rosan Santos, a Brazilian immigrant, found herself at the center of controversy—but for all the wrong reasons.

It all started when Brighton Turner, a local resident, entered the restaurant wearing a red “Make America Great Again” (MAGA) hat. Unbeknownst to him, his choice of headwear would trigger an intense and unexpected confrontation.

Santos, who was also dining at the restaurant, immediately took offense to the hat. Witnesses say she began verbally attacking Brighton, accusing him of being a supporter of former President Donald Trump. Brighton initially tried to ignore the situation, but as the tension escalated, he pulled out his phone and began recording the incident.

In the video, Santos can be seen approaching Brighton from behind and aggressively snatching his hat off his head. She allegedly threw the hat multiple times while continuing to hurl insults at him. Brighton, however, remained calm, repeatedly stating that he had the right to wear whatever he wanted.

Santos, undeterred, went even further—at one point, she allegedly told the bartender to poison Brighton’s drink.

As the situation spiraled, police were called to the restaurant. But even in the presence of law enforcement, Santos refused to back down. She once again knocked Brighton’s hat off his head—this time, right in front of the officers. That was the final straw. Police arrested Santos on the spot, charging her with assault and battery, as well as disorderly conduct.

During the arrest, Santos showed clear signs of intoxication and resisted officers’ attempts to escort her outside. Once at the police station, she continued to challenge their authority, refusing to exit the police vehicle.

Despite her disruptive behavior, she was later released on her own recognizance and scheduled for a court hearing. However, her legal troubles were far from over.

Shortly after her release, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents took her into custody. Officials identified her as an undocumented immigrant from Brazil who had overstayed her tourist visa—since 1994. Now, in addition to facing criminal charges, Santos is also facing deportation.

Despite the mounting legal issues, Santos defended her actions, claiming that Brighton had provoked her. However, multiple witnesses—including the bartender—refuted her claim, stating that Brighton had done nothing to instigate the altercation. According to them, he simply walked in, ordered his food, and was unfairly targeted.

Now, with criminal charges and possible deportation ahead, Santos’ outburst at the restaurant has led to consequences far beyond what she likely imagined.
