Donald Trump Is Violating the Constitution and Breaking the Law with His New Order- Nancy Say

Many politicians are angry at former President Donald Trump because he has decided to stop giving out federal loans and grants. This means the government will pause financial aid while Trump and his team check if the spending supports his political agenda. Programs that could be affected include those related to climate change, transgender rights, and diversity programs. Many people, especially Democratic leaders, believe this decision is unfair and harmful.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer called Trump’s action “lawless, destructive, dangerous, and cruel.” He warned that stopping financial aid could harm many Americans and compared the decision to “Project 2025,” a controversial conservative plan that Trump has denied being involved with. Schumer urged Congress to take action to stop this from happening.

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi also criticized Trump’s decision. She said it is “illegal” and “unconstitutional” and warned that it would raise costs, hurt working families, and take away important resources from Americans who need them. She explained that nonprofit organizations, seniors, teachers, childcare workers, and law enforcement agencies will all suffer because of this freeze. She said Trump’s order has caused “chaos, confusion, and fear” for hardworking Americans.

Senator Bernie Sanders also spoke out against Trump’s decision. He said stopping these loans and grants will hurt children, seniors, and the most vulnerable people in the country. He called Trump’s move “a dangerous step towards authoritarianism,” meaning he believes Trump is trying to take too much control over the government in a way that is unfair and extreme.

The freeze on federal loans and grants will begin on Tuesday. Government agencies must now review their spending to see if they follow Trump’s new policies. If an agency finds that its programs match Trump’s agenda, it may continue to receive funding. However, many programs could lose their money.

This is just one of many controversial decisions Trump has made in his second term. In just nine days in office, he has already faced backlash for reviewing the disaster relief agency FEMA, pushing for mass deportations, and even discussing plans to take over part of Canada. Many people are watching closely to see what he does next.
