Mary Trump, the niece of former President Donald Trump, has once again spoken out strongly against her uncle. In a recent message, she shared what she believes is the real reason he decided to launch airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities over the weekend. According to her, it wasn’t about strategy or national security—it was all about Donald Trump’s ego.

The strikes have caused serious concern around the world, especially since Iran responded by targeting U.S. military bases in Iraq and Qatar on Monday, June 23. In the middle of the rising tension, Trump called for a ceasefire, hoping to calm things down. But only a few hours later, he publicly accused both Iran and Israel of violating the ceasefire agreement.

Trump has faced criticism from both political opponents and some of his own supporters in recent months. One of the most biting nicknames used against him is “TACO,” which stands for “Trump Always Chickens Out.” Critics use it to suggest that Trump talks tough but often backs down when things get serious.

Mary Trump believes that nickname still bothers her uncle deeply. In a post she shared online, she accused Trump of making a reckless decision to attack Iran simply because he was feeling ignored and wanted to be the center of attention again. She wrote that Trump led the country into a dangerous situation without getting approval from Congress, which she says is illegal. In her words, he did it not for the good of the country, but because he was desperate to feel powerful and important.

She didn’t hold back. Mary described her uncle as corrupt, ignorant, and selfish. She said that, like Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Trump acts on his worst instincts, doing whatever it takes to protect his fragile ego from being hurt. According to her, he’s terrified of being embarrassed or exposed as a fraud, and that fear drives many of his actions.

Mary ended her message by pointing out that the recent attack might be a way for Trump to fight back against being mocked for his past indecisiveness. She said, “Donald is still no doubt stinging from the acronym recently coined to mock his inability to follow through on anything – TACO: Trump Always Chickens Out.”

Meanwhile, Donald Trump spoke briefly to reporters on Tuesday, June 24, and his tone showed just how angry and frustrated he is with both Israel and Iran. He said that after a ceasefire deal was agreed upon, Israel went ahead and launched a massive airstrike far beyond anything he had expected. “I’m not happy with Israel,” he said. “When I say you have 12 hours, you don’t go out in the first hour and just drop everything you have on them.”

He also made it clear that he wasn’t pleased with Iran either, but he seemed especially upset with Israel for escalating the situation so quickly. Looking visibly angry, Trump said, “We basically have two countries that have been fighting for so long and so hard that they don’t even know what they’re doing anymore. Do you understand that?”

The entire situation continues to unfold with uncertainty, and the reactions from leaders and citizens around the world remain mixed. What’s clear is that tensions are rising, and Mary Trump’s harsh words have added fuel to the growing debate over her uncle’s decisions and motivations.
