Grimes has apologized to her fans for canceling an upcoming performance, saying she’s dealing with personal and family problems.

She shared the news on Twitter and expressed how sorry she was for the trouble this may have caused her supporters. She said it hurt to cancel the show, especially knowing how much people were looking forward to it, but she had no choice because of issues happening in her family life.

Grimes, whose real name is Claire Elise Boucher, is a Canadian musician known for her unique and experimental music style. She began her music career in 2006 and has built a strong fanbase over the years.

Besides her music, she became widely known for her past relationship with Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla. Together, they had three children: X Æ A-Xii, Exa Dark Sideræl, and Techno Mechanicus. Though the couple split in 2021, they still share parenting responsibilities.

Grimes has often been open on social media about the difficulties she faces while co-parenting with Musk. Recently, she criticized him after their eldest son, X, was seen on television during a visit to the White House with Musk.

She said that their son should not be appearing in public like that and thanked a fan who informed her, even though she was frustrated and upset about not being told earlier.

She also made emotional public posts asking Elon Musk to respond to her regarding a serious medical situation involving one of their children.

In a now-deleted tweet, she pleaded with Musk to take action and claimed that the child could face permanent health problems if nothing was done. She explained that she had tried calling, texting, and emailing him but hadn’t received any response. Out of desperation, she said she had to make it public to get his attention.

Despite everything, she reassured fans that she hopes the Pride event she had to cancel will still be enjoyable and that she will make up for missing the performance soon. She ended her message with love and gratitude for her fans, promising to return when she’s able to give them her best.
