Authorities from the Starr County Sheriff’s Office are currently on the lookout for two individuals following a home invasion incident on 11/17/2022. The incident took place at a residence located on Navajo Street and Alvarez Road.
According to reports from the sheriff’s office, a 24-year-old man reported hearing loud knocks on his front door. Upon opening the door, he was confronted by an individual holding a Pizza Hut box and brandishing a handgun.
The man carrying the pizza box proceeded to forcefully enter the resident’s home, initiating a struggle between them. During the altercation, multiple gunshots were fired.
Subsequently, additional individuals entered the premises and restrained the resident by binding his wrists with zip ties, as detailed in a statement released by the Starr County Sheriff’s Office.
The suspects fled the scene in a white Dodge Challenger, distinguishable by a white window sticker affixed to the rear window, according to the sheriff’s office.
A description was provided for one of the suspects, who was observed wearing light blue jeans, a blue striped polo shirt, a light grey jacket, and a red or orange ski mask. Authorities are actively investigating the incident in an effort to locate and apprehend the suspects.
